Vào Downloads -> Options
* Chỉnh số luồng tải lên 16 : Chọn thẻ Connection,chọn Default max. conn. number là 16, chọn Connection Type / Speed cho phù hợp với đường truyền Internet của bạn
* Thay đổi nơi lưu dữ liệu tạm và nơi lưu file (để quá trình tải và nối file diễn ra nhanh hơn):chọn thẻ Save to,thay đổi đường dẫn cho mục Default download directory for "***" Category
bạn làm tương tự với các category còn lại.Tiếp đến thay đổi đường dẫn lưu file tạm ở mục Temporary Directory.
* Một số trang web có nhúng nhạc và IDM lại lanh chanh nhảy ra cửa sổ Download làm bạn bất tiện, để bỏ cái này, ở thẻ File Types, trong khung

vào mục Don't start downloading automatically from following site.
* Nếu bạn có account Rapidshare Premium, bạn có thể Add link trực tiếp vào IDM như sau: trong thẻ Sites Login, bấm New, chọn giao thức
là http://, (http://www.sharesoft84.com/forum/links.php?url=http://,) Server/Path là rapidshare.com, nhập username vào mục user và password vào 2 mục còn lại, bấm OK
* Bạn sưu tầm được 1 số link Rapid kha khá, nếu phải Add từng link một vào IDM thật không khác gì gà đi kéo cày, hãy lưu các links đó
vào 1 tập tin TXT (mỗi link 1 dòng), lưu lại. Trong giao diện chính của IDM, vào Task -> Import -> From text file và tìm đến file TXT là xong
* Phải truy cập qua proxy vì đang trong cơ quan làm việc, vào thẻ Proxy và đặt Proxy tương ứng cho mỗi mục.

Thiết lập cấu hình tăng tốc Download IDM bằng cách tăng số kết nối lên mức cao nhất :

Đối với các mem, mod, smod , admin của Sharesoft84.Com thì Internet Download Manager là một công cụ không
ai không biết đến với khả năng tăng tốc hiệu quả tốc độ tải xuống của các tập tin, mặc định khi cài xong
thì IDM đã tự tăng tốc download cho các bạn rồi, tuy nhiên để đạt được hiệu quả cao nhất các bạn cần phải tùy
chỉnh một số tùy chọn. Sau đây là kinh nghiệm của tui, ai biết rồi thì thôi :
Vào Downloads -> Options
* Chỉnh số luồng tải lên 16 : Chọn thẻ Connection,chọn Default max. conn. number là 16, chọn Connection Type / Speed cho phù hợp với đường truyền Internet của bạn
* Thay đổi nơi lưu dữ liệu tạm và nơi lưu file (để quá trình tải và nối file diễn ra nhanh hơn):chọn thẻ Save to,thay đổi đường dẫn cho mục Default download directory for "***" Category
bạn làm tương tự với các category còn lại.Tiếp đến thay đổi đường dẫn lưu file tạm ở mục Temporary Directory.
* Một số trang web có nhúng nhạc và IDM lại lanh chanh nhảy ra cửa sổ Download làm bạn bất tiện, để bỏ cái này, ở thẻ File Types, trong khung
Automatically start downloading the following file types bỏ chọn loại file mà mình không muốn hoặc thêm địa chỉ trang web không muốn tải tự động
vào mục Don't start downloading automatically from following site.
* Nếu bạn có account Rapidshare Premium, bạn có thể Add link trực tiếp vào IDM như sau: trong thẻ Sites Login, bấm New, chọn giao thức
là http://, (http://www.sharesoft84.com/forum/links.php?url=http://,) Server/Path là rapidshare.com, nhập username vào mục user và password vào 2 mục còn lại, bấm OK
* Bạn sưu tầm được 1 số link Rapid kha khá, nếu phải Add từng link một vào IDM thật không khác gì gà đi kéo cày, hãy lưu các links đó
vào 1 tập tin TXT (mỗi link 1 dòng), lưu lại. Trong giao diện chính của IDM, vào Task -> Import -> From text file và tìm đến file TXT là xong
* Phải truy cập qua proxy vì đang trong cơ quan làm việc, vào thẻ Proxy và đặt Proxy tương ứng cho mỗi mục.
Thủ thuật tăng tốc độ download cho IDM Internet Download Manager
Thiết lập cấu hình tăng tốc Download IDM bằng cách tăng số kết nối lên mức cao nhất :
IDM > Downloads > Options > Connection > Default.max.conn.number chỉnh thành 16.
Thiết lập thông số đường truyền tối ưu cho IDM:
Connection Type/Speed chọn OtherGiá trị X (bps) = Download*1000
VD: Gói tốc độ 3072kbps thì X = 3072000
