What it does:
Users in usergroupid 8 (the default banned group) have their ban reason, ban date, and ban lift date displayed on their profiles. It shows up on the 'About Me' tab, at the top of the section marked 'Statistics'.
Users in usergroupids 5,6,7 (the default mod/admin groups) also see the name of the mod/admin who did the banning. Other users do not see this information.
To install, import as a product.
Customization:
If you want to change the groups for which the ban info is displayed, or who can see the name of the person who did the banning, just edit the product file, then re-import, allowing overwrite. The exact php changes required are left as an exercise to the reader, though they're so simple that someone with zero knowledge of php could probably figure them out in a few minutes.
