Trao đổi với VnExpress.net, anh Đạt cho biết chiếc điện thoại Nexus One này thuộc phiên bản đặc biệt mà hãng Google dành riêng cho những nhà lập trình điện thoại trên nền tảng Android. Anh Đạt cho biết đang viết các ứng dụng cho Nexus One nhằm đưa vào khóa học cho những người yêu thích hệ điều hành Android thông qua website www.multiuni.org. Đây là khóa học phi lợi nhuận được sự tài trợ của công ty FPT-Aptech để cung cấp kiến thức nền tảng cần thiết về lập trình ứng dụng điện thoại di động cho hệ điều hành Android.
Nexus One có thiết kế đơn giản và mỏng hơn iPhone, dùng màn hình cảm ứng 3,7 inch khá nhạy, trang bị camera 5 chấm với đèn flash LED nên hình ảnh chụp đẹp và sắc nét.
Google Nexus One kết nối Internet qua Wi-Fi nhanh chóng, đặc biệt các ứng dụng của Google như Gmail, Gtalk, Google Map... chạy nhanh và ổn định trên máy. Điểm đáng tiếc là màn hình cảm ứng chỉ cho phép dùng một ngón tay chứ không có chế độ cảm ứng đa điểm chạm như của iPhone.
Điện thoại Nexus One của Google được hãng HTC sản xuất, dùng hệ điều hành Android 2.1, vi xử lý Snapdragon 1 GHz, bộ nhớ RAM và ROM đều là 512 MB. Máy có hỗ trợ mạng 3G.
