Requirements:
* Perl > 5.005 ver.
* LWP, DBI, DBD::mysql Perl modules
* MySQL database >= 4.1 ver.
* Apache mod_rewrite module, mod_headers module (optional)
* .htaccess files enabled
* GD lib, GD perl module (optional)
If you don't have any Perl modules, you can install them through SSH console manually:
perl -MCPAN -e shell
install LWP
install DBI
install DBD::mysql
install GD
*** Upgrade XFS Pro from 1.7 to 1.8 ***
1) IMPORTANT: Backup all .cgi, .pm files, main.css, images and Templates folders. Make a dump of your SQL database.
2) Upload all new files from cgi-bin, htdocs folders over old ones except "temp" and "uploads" folders.
Update new XFileConfig.pm and XFSConfig.pm files with your old settings manually (probably the worst part of update

Update all your extra FileServers files too from FS-dist folder.
3) Update new XFileConfig.pm and XFSConfig.pm manually using settings from old configs.
4) Chmod 755 upgrade_17_18.cgi file. Run /cgi-bin/upgrade_17_18.cgi in browser to update SQL tables. Should see "DONE." if everything's fine.
IMPORTANT: make sure you have 'profit_amount' and 'profit_points' fields in XFileConfig.pm to correct points-to-money convert
Delete upgrade_17_18.cgi, upgrade_17_18.sql files.

6) Enter correct path to cgi-bin in cgi_path key in XFileConfig.pm
Do the same for cgi_dir key in XFSConfig.pm
