About Direct Input
Direct input allows you to add a video from any location (both local and remote) by simply pasting in the link to the video.
Local videos
In case you want to add a *.flv or a *.mp4 video that you uploaded via FTP, please first make sure the video has been uploaded to /uploads/videos/. If you upload it to another location the video won't be added properly. Once you have the full and correct URL to the video, please post it under 'Direct Input' and press the 'Step 2' button.
Remote videos
The remote videos are videos that you add to PHP Melody from other video sites. Thanks to the new PHP Melody, you can add videos from any of the following video sources:
